Matrimonio Is made in order to connect with the modern perspective of marriage. How two individuals want to be connected together into eternity and how their position in the holy matrimony has shifted. Neutralized humans with open minds and blurred lines between the sexes and their expectations for one another. Merging together the traditional values and the modern ones. Matrimonio is inspired by the old churches in Genoa , Italy, and the basalt columns at the black beach at Reynisfjara , Iceland. Those two different elements have been merged together with the traditional “costumes� that the wedding has been connected with throughout centuries.

The colors, the combinations and the tailoring techniques represent the imperfect relationship of two human beings. The black and white have bleed out and connected in a asymmetrical stripe pattern , that has bleed out in softer colors. The genders gap will always exist, but we have been changing our mindset in order to eliminate it. Martimonio is made with different sustainable approaches, by only using high quality biodegradable materials. The garments are made with a zero waste pattern cutting where the styles have been shaped and cut out in a careful and calculated way, to shape the styles. All of the knitted styles are made by hand and out of recycled cotton or linen.
