Larger gatherings do require a two-night minimum, and can be paired with renting the entire home.

“We love hosting on-site events that vary from intimate dinner parties to large wedding receptions for our guests,” commented Liz Flore, Innkeeper at The OBH. “Bridal showers are very popular, and our location makes us the perfect accommodation for bachelorette weekends. There is plenty to do nearby, as we are close to both the beach and the village, which has a wide variety of terrific restaurants and bars, along with relaxing spas and cute boutiques. The house itself is a great getaway too. There are so many wonderful spaces right within the home to enjoy and unwind in.

And of course there is breakfast! This is where the magic begins, and the aroma of freshly baked muffins fills the house. A beautiful table greets our groups with a morning spread to satisfy all taste buds, and the home becomes alive with laughter and good music while hair and makeup get done. Once dresses and suits go on, first looks have everyone crying and the photo backdrop is stunning from every angle. We have a lot of fairy-tale moments here."

Able to accommodate 24 guests, the house is perfect for wedding parties and out-of-town guests and family members. The nine spacious, well- appointed guest rooms and suites all have luxurious ensuite bathrooms. A beautiful blend of old and new, each room is unique in its own way, tastefully pairing original details and antiques with updated amenities. Plush king beds, flat screen TV’s, minirefrigerators, individual thermostats and, of course, complimentary Wi-Fi are standard in each room for guests’ convenience.
