1. Day 1 and For lifer? More like Day 1 and Gone Forever.

3. I guess I have to live a life of martyrdom and admire you from afar.

4. And just like that, all the sleepless and selfdestructive nights turned into a bright genuine smile.

5. Why do we easily tell others what they deserve without allowing those same things for ourselves?

6. Forgiveness does not require reconnection, yet we continue to accept the things that have destroyed us in the past with open arms.

Do you know what one of the greatest and worst feelings, in my opinion, of all time is? It is felt when you have already found the person that you are willing to share everything with, lay out the rest of your life with, and die for but you knew that she is already starting to be happy with somebody else’s love and company. Finding that person and feeling your adrenaline rushing up, your heart pounding fast every time you are with her - one of the best feelings and achievements. Knowing that you do not stand a chance because there is already someone with her, gives her the best smiles and memories she could ever have - one of the most world-breaking feelings.

There are times when people, who you expect to be with you through thick and thin, would suddenly leave you hanging. In the beginning, you’ll have that pact of being each other’s source of inspiration and confidence especially when doubts and adversities rise. The problematic stage came and you did everything to keep your passion burning and your team composed. You passed that stage but as you are about to reach the finish line, things had a drawback and that person suddenly left your side. The questions now are, why did that person do so? Will that person come back to his/her senses and return? Will I expect your return?

Writing has been my passion. It has been an integral part of my life ever since I got hooked on it. To be more specific, journalism has brought me to new heights and has instilled values that enabled me to become a responsible and mature person. As I exit Rheims, I am uncertain of when will I write for a newspaper once again. I believe it is time to take a pause and discover more about myself. I do not know when will I be back but I do hope that the future will allow me to once again engage in journalism. Until then, goodbye… :)
