CLEMENTINE PLAISANCE Clementine Cheramie Plaisance, 99, a native and resident of Galliano passed away on January 15, 2016. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Monday, January 18, and on Tuesday, January 19 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at the church with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her children; Calvin Plaisance and wife Audrey and Elaine P. Callais and husband Ronald; grandchildren, Ken Plaisance, Theresa Fern (Dale), Gavin Callais (Dolly), Bruce Callais (Connie), Lee Callais (Jane), Abdon Callais and Renée C. Karas (Brien); great grandchildren, Megan C. JOYCE (LEDET) OUGEL Joyce Ledet Ougel, 87, a native and resident of Larose, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 18, 2016. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time at 12noon at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Thursday, January 21. She is survived by her five children: son Johnny Ougel and wife Carolyn, daughters Karen Knight, Sharon Ougel, Vicki Chaisson and husband Anthony, and son Danny Ougel and wife Debbie. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and loved spending time with her family.
