The Prince George's Film Office launched its inaugural event with four days of workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities. Showcased were the works of over 40 filmmakers — up-and-coming and established independent. Attendees got to network with local industry leaders and national celebrities including Chad L. Coleman, Richard Lawson and Tina Knowles Lawson. Competing films were presented in four categories: Narrative Features, Short Films, Documentaries, and Long and Short Form Animation.
