The Nest is our primary form of communication between school and home. Here you will have access to your child’s academic, skills and character journeys. You will find notifications about recent activities, receive notices for upcoming activities and be able to access many resources that are directly relevant to your child’s school experience.

BEFORE YOU START

We recommend accessing The Nest for the first time on a desktop computer. Please note that we utilise Microsoft Authenticator across our digital ecosystem to provide a secure experience, so you may require a mobile device nearby to verify your identity.

STEP 1: VISIT THE NEST

STEP 2: ENTER YOUR TEMPORARY PASSWORD

Using the information provided in your Welcome Emai from TKS, please input your temporary password.

STEP 3: CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD

When you log in for the first time using the details provided in your welcome email from TKS, you will be prompted to change your password.

TOP TIP: Please change to something that you can remember ensuring that it is suitably complex including (at least) one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one number.

STEP 4: WELCOME TO YOUR DASHBOARD

You should see something like this when you log in for the first time, but everyone’s experience is unique. That’s the power of this system – it is tailored to you and your child.

STEP 5: TRY NAVIGATING TO YOUR CHILD’S LEARNING COMMUNITY

Use these tiles / buttons to visit the area that your child currently attends to find out the latest in your area of the School.

STEP 6: TRY NAVIGATING TO YOUR CHILD’S LEARNING PROFILE

You can find important things to do with your child’s learning here – from Academic Progress Reports to messages from your teachers.

What do I do if I experience difficulties?

The Knox School is supported by an experienced and dedicated team of IT Support professionals who are available during school hours should you require any assistance with access to any of our systems. You can reach out to them by email (helpdesk@knox.vic.edu.au) or by phone (03) 8805 3888.

We encourage all TKS families to download the App! Our TKS App can be downloaded in Google Play or the Apple App Store. Once you have downloaded the App, you can log in using the same details you would use for The Nest.
