THEIR STORY On her grandparents’ anniversary, Maeve Sattler (28) self-united with Zach Zafris (28) in an intimate ceremony at Zach’s family’s church. In the year following, the couple took their time planning a boisterous affair for 200 at the Ace Hotel in Pittsburgh—complete with help from the final Harry Potter book. “We asked ourselves, ‘How would our wedding look if we were characters in that world?’ and let that inspire our vision, since most of our décor was DIY,” Maeve says. The final touch? Maeve repurposed her original bouquet of dried flowers and handmade gold paper stars for her big bash. — LB B
