Most bridal shops are willing to sell samples from last season in order to make room for new inventory. Laser-cut lace and hand-embroidered fabrics keep things interesting and modern, while simple crepe is sexy but still extremely classic. who’s the best person to bring along for a second opinion while dress shopping? The one person who knows your personal style best, whether that’s your mom or your best friend. Whomever you choose needs to see your vision of “you” on your day, not their own vision.

Unless you’re ordering a made-tomeasure gown, you can expect your dress to need some sort of tailoring, which is why a great seamstress is crucial. what’s the craziest request you’ve ever received from a client? We often meet with brides who purchase their gown solo since their family and friends live out of state. On more than one occasion, we’ve been asked to host a second appointment with family included, in which we have to pretend we’ve never met the bride. share one pro tip all brides should know.
