You don’t want to take away from the beauty of the bride and the gown itself. how essential are dress alterations? Alterations are always needed to ensure a proper fit. Unless you’re ordering a made-tomeasure gown, you can expect your dress to need some sort of tailoring, which is why a great seamstress is crucial. what’s the craziest request you’ve ever received from a client? We often meet with brides who purchase their gown solo since their family and friends live out of state. On more than one occasion, we’ve been asked to host a second appointment with family included, in which we have to pretend we’ve never met the bride. share one pro tip all brides should know.
