arly on in the planning process, Casey McMackin (26 and a senior account executive for Irvine Technology Corporation) decided she wanted to incorporate as much rose gold as possible into her wedding to Sean Calcagnie (26 and a real estate broker for Calcagnie Group), whom she met while they were students at the University of Southern California. And her event team didn’t disappoint, seamlessly incorporating the soft metallic hue into nearly every aspect of their SoCal day, including customizing the reception chairs, painting a large “C” on the dance floor and creating a hanging cake suspended by rose gold chains. Lush blooms and a dreamy color scheme of white, cream and ivory provided an elegant backdrop for the metallic motif, and rosé prosecco was the perfect (color-coordinated) way for guests to toast to the happy couple. —Meghan Overdeep
