The Æneema belongs to a new realm of hybridized kites that sits beside the Ian Alldredge TDZ as a go-to for the full spectrum of conditions. BWS head designer Dano See has created a featherweight kite that is stable, fast turning and suits a ‘sheet-in-and-go’ style of riding. The Æneema’s direct on/off power and forward-flying profile is fast, responsive and delivers smooth power at a moment’s notice. Turn the power off and let the kite drift while you carve up the face or flick it on and cruise through mushy sections. The power is there when you need it and the signature BWS ‘drift’ also lets you ride the wave when you want to. Everything we create is designed and built for wave riding. The AEneema has been tested in Europe, Australia, Fiji and Mexico with a range of conditions and testers. And the verdict? It is the ultimate all-rounder.

The TDZ kite is designed with pro rider Ian’s style and home conditions in mind. This means it suits fast turning, powerful, on and off wave riding conditions. The kind of ‘not perfect’ conditions that Ian rides in every day on his home turf of California. It excels in clean to gusty winds and all directions while still providing the ultimate downthe-line drift needed for surfing with a kite. It features an allnew no-pulley bridle system with a fixed setting for faster turning, increased kite feedback and a more stable top end – just as Ian desired. The TDZ also has a faster profile than the Noise Pro, which makes it faster through the sky, quicker to respond and smoother in gustier conditions. The TDZ kite is high performance all the way but still user-friendly enough for the every-day rider.
