Way-Welch MANNING — Kiri Michelle Way and Cody Graham Welch, both of Manning, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at New Covenant Presbyterian Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Way of Manning, the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Baggette Jr. and Mrs. Cynthia Lambert, all of Manning, and the late Tracy Way of Summerton, and the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Blanche S. Duke of Manning. She is a 2012 graduate of Manning High School and attends Kenneth MRS. CODY WELCH Shuler School of Cosmetology. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Welch of Manning, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Graham of Manning, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Eugene Welch. He is a 2009 graduate of Manning High School and a 2011 graduate of Central Carolina Technical College with a certificate in welding and fabrication. He is employed by Zackary Industrial.

The Rev. Kenneth Upright officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Mrs. Libby Anderson, pianist; Grant Goff, soloist; and Chris Mahoney, guitarist. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless Aline gown featuring a split-front chiffon overlay, a beaded bodice and embroidered train. She carried a bouquet of calla lillies. Macye Way, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Tanya Welch, Mrs. Sara Welch, Laci Thompson, Amanda Stone and Brianna Kolb. Lainey Baggette and Jordan Welch served as flower girls. The bridegroom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Rusty Welch, Kevin Welch, Andrew Stone, Taylor Foster and Justin Lebeau. The reception was held at The Bassard Pond House. The rehearsal party was held at the church. Following a wedding trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., the couple resides in Manning.

Leslie Ann Baker and Woodrow Clark Ruff were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Sans Souci Farm in Sumter. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Milton Baker Jr., and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Milton Baker Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Leslie Moore, all of Sumter. She graduated from Thomas Sumter Academy and the University of South Carolina Upstate with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education. She is employed by Sumter School District as a second-grade teacher at Cherryvale Elementary School. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Clark Ruff, and the grandson of Mrs. Helen Ruff and the late William Ruff and MRS. WOODROW RUFF the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnston, all of Little Texas, Ala. He graduated from Notasulga High School and attended Auburn University. He is stationed at Shaw Air Force Base. The Rev. Jimmy Holley officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Kipper Ackerman, harpist; Mrs. Lauren Decker, violinist; and Mrs. Lauren Geddings, soloist.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless gown of ivory lace with a chapel train. She carried a white bouquet of roses, lisianthus, lillies, limonium, Queen Anne’s lace and assorted greenery hand wrapped with rustic wire. Mrs. Allison Baird Tyner served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Mary Margaret Reister, Mary Ashton Anglin, Mrs. Lauren Link Geddings, and Mrs. Allison Ruff Jones, sister of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaid was Abbey Carlisle Davis. Flower girls were Anniston Leigh Ruff, daughter of the bridegroom, and Laini Cole Kosinski. The bridegroom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Cecil Ray Langford, William Robert Baker, brother of the bride, Thomas Lee Gantt, Joseph Kyle Jones and Charlie Davis Tyner. Jenkins Carter Andrews served as ring bearer. Also participating were Laura Elizabeth Baker and Kendal Michaela Scheller. The bride’s parents held the reception at Sans Souci Farm. The bridal couple held the rehearsal party at Cain’s Mill Clubhouse. Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Sumter.

Crolley-Craig Greg and Yoli Crolley of Sumter announce the engagement of their daughter, Doren Marnae Crolley of St. Augustine, Fla., to Joshua David Craig of Sumter, son of John and Maria Mims of Sumter. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Chad Beckham and the late Margaret Beckham, and Danny Crolley and Nancy Crolley, all of Lancaster. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of science degree in exercise science and is pursuing a graduate degree in occupational therapy at the University of St. Augustine. The bridegroom-elect is the grandson CRAIG, MISS CROLLEY of Jim Pope and the late Jean Pope of Mount Olive, N.C., and the late O’dell and Bessie Mims of Sumter. He graduated from Central Carolina Technical College with an associate of science degree and is pursuing a bachelor of science degree. The wedding is planned for Aug. 17, 2013, at Bethel Baptist Church in Sumter.

John and Brenda Swann of Dalzell announce the engagement of their daughter, Maeghan Renae Swann of Laurinburg, N.C., to Kenneth Donald Zeigler of Sumter, son of the late Donald Kenneth Zeigler and the late Millie D. Floyd Zeigler Boyce, and the stepson of Christy J. Zeigler and Ken Boyce, all of Sumter. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kenneth W. and Melba Morris, the late Francis Lee Swann, and the late Barbara Swann, all of Macon, Ga. She graduated from Crestwood High School in Sumter and St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg. She is employed by Scotland County Schools. The bridegroom-elect graduated from MISS SWANN, ZEIGLER Crestwood High School. He is owner-operator with TMC Trucking headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa. A summer wedding is planned in Laurinburg.

Bynum-Noblitt Mrs. Henry Clarke Bynum Jr. of Columbia announces the engagement of her daughter, Ann-Lanius Bynum of Sumter, to Matthew Thomas Noblitt of St. Louis, Mo., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Henry Noblitt of St. Louis. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Henry Clarke Bynum Jr. of Sumter, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clarke Bynum of Sumter, and Mrs. Cynthia Crouch Satcher and Benjamin Wright Satcher of Lexington. She graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor of arts in elementary education. She is employed as a firstgrade teacher at The Freedom School in St. Louis. The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of MISS BYNUM Mr. and Mrs. William Wayne Noblitt and Mrs. Viola Ruth Hollenback and the late Joseph Aubin Hollenback, all of St. Louis. He expects to graduate in August from Liberty University with a degree in Biblical theology. He is employed as a pastor of student ministries at Oak Bridge Church in St. Louis. The wedding is planned for June 14, 2013, at The Millstone at Adams Pond in Columbia.

Ridgeway-Butler Sharon Ridgeway and Gary Ridgeway announce the engagement of their daughter, Carmen Lee Ridgeway, to Clifford Brooks Hogan Butler, son of Margaret Posa and the late William Butler, all of Manning. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Barbara L. Carroll and the late Tommy L. Carroll and the late Cleveland and Cleo Ridgeway, all of Manning. She graduated from Manning High School and the University of South Carolina Upstate with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed by Tuomey Healthcare System. The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Ila Mae Hogan and the late William Hogan and Mildred Scott and the late Thomas Scott. He graduated from Phoe- BUTLER, MISS RIDGEWAY nix Center. He is employed by Randolph’s Landing. The wedding is planned for April 20, 2013, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Davis Station.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Rattz of Sumter celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 27, 2013, with a dinner at their home. The couple has one son and daughterin-law, Joseph C. Jr. and Vickey S. Rattz of Stockbridge, Ga. Mrs. Rattz is the former Josie Monterey Black.
