of the four seasons. They also participated in song and dance.
On May 31, the students learned about autumn. They discussed what reminds them of the fall season, touched crunchy leaves, smelled fall scents, and walked across a faux-leaf pile.

Floral Park-Bellerose School hosted its inaugural Career Day on May 31. Family members of students volunteered to discuss their respective careers. For students in pre-K through third grade, the parents/family members visited the classrooms to present on their jobs, while students in fourth through sixth grade attended the Career Fair in the gymnasium.
Some occupations represented included attorney, detective, nonfction children’s book editor, journalist/television news producer, speech language pathologist, architect for NYC parks, ophthalmology research manager and social worker, among others.
Career Day was organized by guidance counselor Lauren Hogg.
