It’s a Matter of Worth

An interesting observation I have made after working as a Holistic Therapist for over 15 years, is many women (I have always predominately worked with women) are driven by lack of self-worth Many of them know it, but pretend it’s not there Some cover it up with a big smile, incredible discipline/punishment and or self-avoidance.

The problem here is as women, we haven’t been shown how to love and value themselves. For far too many generations women have been raised to think they are too fat, too ugly and need to find security, love and acceptance outside of themselves. Now, I know you are thinking, we all know this. This is not new information.

My question is. Are you ready to do something about it?

It’s time. It’s time we started to ask ourselves the questions. What questions? Here are some examples.

“Why do I put other’s needs above my own, even when I am exhausted?”

“Why do I constantly pretend I am fine instead of telling people the truth and getting support?’

“Why do I refuse to spend money on things of value for myself, invest in myself and grow as a person?”

It is time for women to start getting truthful with themselves about how they really feel, what they really want and what they are saying to themselves in their heads…….constantly. It’s as simple as finally looking in the mirror and saying, “I’ve got you. Today I start to give you what you are worth.” Be honest, your thoughts will tell you what you think.

No one expects it to be easy or fast. Hire a coach, a trainer, get a massage or treatment. Walk on the beach, buy the shoes. DO SOMETHING for yourself that you have always wanted to do, but don’t feel worthy of. It’s starts with one small act of self-kindness.
