Happy New Year to you!

I hope that you have had a relaxing break over the Christmas /New Year period are ready to move into the New Year of 2024. May the year ahead be filled with blessings, abundance, joy, laughter, love, simplicity, and wellbeing for you. I am looking forward to walking alongside you each month bringing you the wellbeing news and events of our community.

We’ve had a few nights away camping at Byfield and it was soul soothing. Despite the intense humidity and the nightly downpours with the summer storms, it was a great time to reset and recharge after the mammoth year that was 2023.

There’s something about being in the fresh air, near the creek amongst the tall leafy trees that feels so much more therapeutic than countless therapy sessions! It was a reminder that this is something that is so good for me, and I aim to schedule in more down time to do just this in the year ahead, with regular disconnection from technology and social media as well. I’ll keep you posted on how that goes. As an avid scroller, it will be a challenge to forge a new habit there, but I am up for it!

Our January edition brings to you a host of fabulous stories from the wellbeing community with the opportunity for you to meet Melea Apps and learn more about her business Cultivate Health Acupuncture. We also sat down and chatted with local artist Michelle from Arco Iris Interiors to learn what inspires her vibrant art creations. Read about Rhonda from Inner Pathways and the plans she has in store for 2024, along with columns from our regular contributors.

We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Tim from Intra-Mind to bring the Capricorn Coast its first ever Women’s Health Month this February, so be sure to keep reading to find out about the events that will be hosted in the community and how you can get involved.
