The Honor Foundation - 2022 Impact Report

Page 1

“To serve others with honor, for life. So that their next mission is clear and they continue to impact the world.”

Dear THF Supporters, 2022 was an extraordinary year of growth for THF! Through our steadfast commitment, we continued to have impactful service to America’s best warriors - the men & women of the U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) Community! It was only possible due to the incredible generosity of our donors and their unwavering belief in our mission! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our cause and allowed us to help so many.

It is an absolute privilege and honor to serve the SOF community in their career transitions.

I am proud to be part of an incredible team at THF who, along with all of our tribes of support - coaches, mentors, faculty, community partners, sponsors, businesses, and thousands of other volunteers - share our passion to “serve others with honor, for life”!

2 LETTER FROM THE CEO

We served more service members across the globe in 2022 than ever before. We provided them with the tools and resources necessary to help them prepare for “what’s next”. We helped them figure out their purposes, their “why’s”, and then helped them along their own respective paths to have graceful transitions and become America’s next generation of public and private sector leaders.

Thank you for inspiring us and for joining us in impacting the lives of those transitioning from the Special Operations community. I invite you to learn more about our commitment to the SOF community by visiting honor.org. Enjoy the Impact Report.

With honor and respect,

It is our honor and obligation to serve those who are sworn to defend our Constitution and protect our freedom. The Honor Foundation is a unique opportunity for us to repay that debt, especially to the Veterans who served on the sharpest end of the spear. It is also a special opportunity to facilitate a successful transition from the military to the civilian world, where years and sometimes decades of management, leadership and team building skills can be redeployed on a new mission. The Carrington Charitable Foundation and The Carrington Companies view The Honor Foundation as one of our most important missions to support, as well as the best recruiting grounds to build and ensure our own continuity and success long term.”

I have a sense of clarity post military career.

93% describe THF programming as having a significant or life changing impact on their transition.

THF isn’t just significant or life changing for the service member - it is significant and life changing for their families as well.

10
IMPACT BEYOND MEASURE

I have a network to connect with for my preferred job search.

I know how to prepare to interview for my civilian dream job.

I can effectively translate my skills and military experience for a civilian job interview.

I can successfully negotiate my first civilian job offer.

This improvement reflects 12 weeks of education in THF Honor Institute.

We continue to work with the Alumni post graduation in a 1:1 capacity until successful fulfillment in their next career is achieved.

THF program is 100% free of charge to active duty Special Operations Forces.

“I cannot fully express how big of an impact The Honor Foundation has had on my husband’s life (and therefore my life)! Not only did the program teach him the basics of writing a resume and going through the interview process, but it taught him about who he is, what motivates him and gives him purpose, what his true goals and priorities are, and how to implement them into reality. After being in the SEAL teams where he felt a strong sense of belonging and purpose for so long, The Honor Foundation helped him to start down a new path as a small business owner that allows him to continue to feel fulfilled in his daily life. We now run that business together from home in a field we both love (but never would have found without their help!). I have so much gratitude towards his mentors and coaches.”
