Featuring some of Homes' recent achievements
Colleagues within Homes have been continuing to develop themselves, as well as their awardwinning sites.
Kelly Mann has recently been promoted from Construction Manager to Divisional Director –Construction. Nick King, Group Director – Homes said: “Kelly is responsible for the overall management of construction activities including the commercial and technical teams covering projects from early stages through to customer care. I am sure you will join me in extending congratulations to Kelly in his new position.”
Kelly said: “I am delighted to be promoted to Divisional Director and honoured by the faith the Board have entrusted in me. I can’t believe it is two years since I started with Hills –time has flown by. We have had a very tough start given the Covid-19 pandemic and other challenging issues that have had to be resolved, but we have pushed on, secured jobs and continue to grow as a company and a team.
“I am very excited for the future. I am proud of everyone in my team and we will continue striving towards delivering more sites, building affordable quality homes across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire.”

Liam Jones joined Homes as a Site Manager in January 2019 and he has been involved in finishing sites at Hillside, Blunsdon and Southside Farm, Corston.
Kelly said: “Finishing the two sites hasn’t been without its challenges, however Liam and the teams on both sites worked well together to complete them. Liam now has the opportunity to oversee his first site, The Paddocks in Blunsdon, from the beginning to completion. Liam has set the site up and it is progressing well so far. Liam has also recently completed his NVQ 7 qualification in Construction which is a well-deserved accomplishment. Well done Liam!”

“Anthony is finishing off at Homes’ Whitelands development in Tetbury before moving over to start Spring Close at West Hanney in Oxfordshire. Anthony has settled in well and is relishing starting the bespoke Spring Close development. He brings a wealth of experience and is keen to study for an NVQ 7 Construction qualification soon.”

Vincent Treen
Vincent Treen joined Homes in June 2018 as a Skilled Site Operative and has done a fantastic job during his time so far with the company. Kelly said: “Vincent has expressed the desire to develop his career and has taken on and completed many of the challenges given to him with a view to gaining experience and filling the role of Finishing Foreman. I am delighted to say Vincent was promoted to the role in March 2021 and is doing very well.”

Jan Pearce
In June, Site Manager Jan Pearce reached a milestone of 25 years with the company. Kelly said: “I have nothing but praise for Jan. He continues to steer the ship at our High Penn Park development in Calne, with two more phases to build before the site is complete. I have no doubt Jan will relish this task as nothing fazes him - he motivates his team and pushes on through challenges that arise. Well done Mr Pearce.”
Kelly continued: “I believe it is vitally important to push ourselves and our teams to improve on all aspects of our roles and to support them in desired training and development requests. We have a fantastic opportunity to develop and promote from within and to build a hungry, successful team for the future. There are very exciting times ahead for the Homes division.”
