Christmas Cocktail

Nothing gets us in the party spirit quite like cocktails. For pure liquid merriment, we went to master mixologist and assistant manager at Guildford’s dazzling Long Bar at the Harbour Hotel, Mark Way. His smooth, sweet and sophisticated Raspberry and White Chocolate Martini nails the flavours of the season and can be made for grateful party guests in a flash…

you will need 25ML White Chocolate liqueur 40ml Raspberry Vodka 5ml Sugar Syrup 20ml lemon juice 1/2 an egg white Optional: a splash of orange or raspberry bitters 1. Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and give it a really good shake. Doing this will aerate the egg white lending the cocktail a beautiful, foamy, marshmallow texture. 2. Double strain into crystal or a martini glass. 3. Garnish with a sprinkle of freeze-dried raspberries or a single fresh raspberry. Mark and his team serve this and other irresistible cocktails at the Long Bar all week, but offer 2 for £10 and 4 for £20 all day during Midweek.
