Duties & Qualifications; The successful candidate will provide technical and engineering support to the mining operations at either the surface or underground mines, including all phases of system design, concurrence, project management, and cost tracking. • • • • • • • •
Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of related experience in engineering and mine. Knowledge of application of mine operations, engineering & financial analysis. Project management & leadership skills, able to work as a team member, maintain project timelines and budgets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient with the use of personal computers and automated tools, including mine planning software (Carlson software), pumping and ventilation simulation programs. Willingness to obtain certifications such as fireboss, foreman, high, medium and low electrical voltage, surface and underground blasting certifications Preference: Professional engineering certification.
