CAMP: MATH MONKEY WEBSITE: mathmonkeymiami.com HOURS: 9 am to Noon or 3 pm AGE RANGE: 1st Grade to 6th Grade At Math & Science Experience, campers will engage in computer games and simulations, hands-on experiments, reading, art, and “Real Life Excursions” to places like Dream Dinners or Edible Arrangements, all related to the topic of the week. Math is covered in the mornings, with topics like data analysis, geometry and money, while science is covered after lunch, with topics including solar system, weather and human body. Half-day mathonly camps also are available. CAMP: MATHNASIUM WEBSITE: mathnasium.com AGE RANGE: 2nd grade - 12th grade Mathnasium is a math learning center where students can go to boost their math skills. Gifted students come for challenging enrichment and students who are behind come to catch up and improve their confidence. Year-round and summer programs fill in skill gaps and preview upcoming concepts, including SAT/ISEE/SSAT test prep, curing finger counting, mastering fractions and word problems, and Algebra readiness. MIAMI CHILDREN’S MUSEUM EXPLORERS SUMMER CAMP

WEBSITE: miamichildrensmuseum.org HOURS: 9 am to 3 pm AGE RANGE: 4 to 10 The camp uses eight areas to teach children about different aspects of life around the globe: food, world crafts and art, music, dance and performance, language, literacy, geography, and games and sports. Each week campers will discover a new sport and explore the countries where it is most popular. Campers will work closely with a sports coach, a visual artist and the museum’s team of professional actors, the MCM Players. CAMP:

In addition to the “Sport of the Week,” and special events, campers can swim and take part in indoor games and activities. Educational emphasis is placed on developing a lifestyle with health, fitness and safety in mind. Half-Day camps are designed to assist students with summer packages and readings, as well as earning credit on summer courses. Full-Day camps are designed to include the academic component as well as indoor/outdoor activities, and fieldtrips. Indoor activities include STEM projects such as Robotics and Engineering.
