COLOURED LIGHTS: Light that has passed through a coloured glass filter.
FILTERED LIGHT: Light that has passed through a glass
filter, absorbing some hues and permitting others to pass through.
HALOGENS: Last longer and are brighter than incan-
descent bulbs. Light is more easily permitted to radiate out to more brightly illuminate space.
GOBOS: A stainless steel or glass-etched cutout, that
when placed in front of a light, projects that image onto a wall or other flat surface.
LED LIGHTING: Lower energy consumption, longer lifetime, smaller size, and faster switching than incandescent bulbs.
WASH LIGHTS: Also known as “floodlights”, throw a wash of light over a space.
SPOTLIGHTS: A lamp projecting a narrow, intense beam of light directly onto a place or person.
