The Femellectual

The Femellectual curates testimonies of the human experience, defiance to the status quo, and visions for change. We accept submissions from people of all genders and people of no gender. The term "femellectual," coined by former Women's Center Intern Francesca Witcher, is a blend of the words feminist and intellectual. The Femellectual is a multimedia literary publication intended to stimulate feminist and intellectual discourse at Miami around women's and gender issues and showcase voices that are not often represented in mainstream media. The Femellectual is created by the Miami University Women's Center Interns. The contents reflect the views of the individual authors and not necessarily those of the Women's Center or Miami University.
