TAILS Foundation Inc is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in April 2016 in response to an increasing need for pet assistance services especially among low-income and senior families. Shelters and rescue groups are overwhelmed with pets needing forever homes and temporary financial or medical hardships often lead to pets being surrendered.

TAILS Foundation Inc’s mission is to help families care for their pets by providing programs and services, resources and education for optimal health and well-being for all pets.

TAILS has several programs to help the community including Food4TAILS, their Pet Food Pantry. With 8 locations in Kootenai County, they have given out over 4,000lbs of food to families with pets in need. TAILS4Life is another program working with several other non-profits in the area providing resources for essential veterinary medical care. Other programs include resources to find your lost pet or adopting a new furry family member! www.TAILSFoundationInc.com
