Usually, the NY Handmade Collective hosts the most anticipated local holiday market in New York City (and, let’s face it, there are LOTS of them). The crowds are exciting! People wait in line to enter! It’s quite festive, but it also means that you only get to experience it if you’re in town. This year, with Etsy’s help, we’re taking the whole show online—so no matter where you are, you’re local! For The Etsy Market, we have almost 70 of our team members participating. You will find truly great and unique gifts from their shops. Even more, since we’re virtual, we can bring you so much more than we could in person. We’re putting together ways for you to meet our makers, see where they work, and hear the stories behind the new products you love. Plus, we’re working on more surprises you won’t want to miss! By the end, you’ll have meaningful gifts to give and the knowledge that you supported local makers and communities this season.
