Where do you make your items? In my attic room, aka the sewing studio, aka the bear cave. What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? Meeting other wonderful creators, hearing their stories and sharing ideas! What gift do you want this year? "Just to spend time with family. After the craziness that

Where do you make your items? In my small workshop on the borders of Leicestershire near Lutterworth

What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? I'm love being part of something with so many other creative makers. It's a great platform and really easy for me to manage. ChristineJewellery Shop What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? "I am in control of my shop. It almost feels like my own bricks and mortar shop and I can make it look just how I like and put in as many pieces of jewellery as I want. The support is there when I need it too."

Why did you start your Etsy shop? "When I started my shop 5 years ago I was teaching full-time and wanted to do something more creative. I’ve made jewellery for many years and wanted to ease myself into online selling. Having control of my own Etsy shop and being able to showcase my pieces around the world is great." Favorite holiday tradition? "Slowing down and switching off from the outside world for a while."

The Colourful Crafter Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? "I mainly work with textile mediums I enjoy mixing things up but my favorite is yarn for versatility." What’s your favorite part about being an Etsy seller? "My favourite part of being an Etsy seller is the reach it gives you, I love seeing people from all walks of life loving my products and being able to connect with other lovers of crafts.." Favorite holiday tradition? "My favorite holiday tradition is Christmas dinner, like everyone I love the way my mum cooks, but I also love it because everyone is sat down together telling cheesy jokes, embarrassing stories and generally being close, it ďŹ lls me with a loving warmth." Craft and Bloom Handmade Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? I would be lying if I didn't say felt. Having a degree in Fashion Buying with Design I have always loved using fabric and textiles, working with different textures and colours. I have been using textiles from such a young age either dressmaking or mending and creating home furnishings for myself and others.

Where do you make your items?

A festive wreath made up of felt Holly, twine and glittery berries on a wooden hoop.

Now life is hopefully starting to return as normal, any spare time I have I spend in the spare bedroom which has been transformed into a lovely little studio space for me to design and create for Craft and Bloom Handmade.

What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? I love the sense of community Etsy has to offer. Even though everything at Craft and Bloom handmade is created by myself, I never feel on my own. Etsy give so much advice and its such a fantastic inspiring platform for everything handmade.

"After coming up with many names and designs and testing them out with our family and friends, The Crafty Planter Seems the right fit and represents who we are" What is your favorite holiday treat? Where do you make your items? I have a jewellers bench in my garage which is where I do all the messy soldering and the nicer bits I do at my desk in my bedroom

EMILY FOUND A THING Shop Where do you make your items? "My studio is my home, a late Georgian farmhouse we have been renovating since 2018" How did you come up with the name for your Etsy shop? "Each episode of Bagpuss, a TV show from my childhood started with the thing that Emily had found. The saggy old cloth cat and his friends told stories and fixed the thing.

The Findings Workshop Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? I prefer natural fabrics so cotton, silk and wool are all favourites of mine. They are fun to re-style too, I like to use dyes or hand embroidery.

Where do you make your items? I repair and restore the items at my studio in Leicester. The building is full of talented and creative designers and makers so it's an inspiring place to work. Great for skill sharing too!

Happy Willow Gifts Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? I love working with fabric! I mostly like to work with cotton fabric but I love linens too! I'm drawn to the huge range of patterns and colours that are available.

Where do you make your items? I make all my items at home. We have a small study where I keep all my fabrics and other sewing essentials. The space is very small though, so more often than not you will ďŹ nd me sewing at the kitchen table.

Honda & Hollie Shop What is your favourite medium to work with? I think my favourite medium to work with has to be my 100% cotton yarn used to make my 100% cotton face scrubbies. They are absolutely gorgeous for giving your face a good cleanse and if you want to get that extra feel good feeling, you can take it up a notch up and use them as an exfoliator.

Where do you make your items? I make my items at home. They are sometimes made in the Orangery on the dining table or sat in front of the TV in the living room. The dream would be to have my very own workspace – Honda & Hollie Headquarters.

What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? My absolute favourite part has to be being part of a team – Leicester Etsy. I love being part of a community where we share ideas, best practice and support each other. I am missing our meet ups and will definitely miss the Etsy Made Local Christmas Fair – it is my absolute favourite part of the year.

K+G Curated Space Shop How did you come up with the name for your Etsy shop? "It’s quite simple. There’s Kenny (first name Helen) and there’s Gra. We wanted to present a considered approach to our vintage collection. Taking time to restore and present the items in a modern context and in turn allowing customers to make considered purchases that will last a lifetime." What is your favorite holiday treat? "It has to be mince pies! Gra is obsessed! He’s straight in at the beginning of October and doesn’t quit until New Years, it’s quite impressive." Everyone has a go-to holiday drink. What’s yours? "I started my Etsy shop to fulfill a vision that started when I moved to Leicester and started to appreciate the surreal beauty in the urban landscape. Sharing that with other people is a way I can show my appreciation for the world around me. I also wanted to save up for an engagement ring and wedding plans as that's coming shortly (hopefully, if I keep selling enough!)" What is your favorite holiday treat? "Apple Pie! Especially when it’s homemade by my girlfriend and served a la mode." Favorite holiday tradition? What’s your favorite part of being an Etsy seller? Being able to make something that has come out of my head for someone that has decided they need it! :) What is your favorite holiday treat? "Seeing all my loved ones" Favorite holiday tradition? "Music quiz on Christmas day" How did you come up with the name for your Etsy shop? "Its an abreviation of Rare Folk which was originally my brands name. I chose this as I wanted to design and make for people (folk) that like something different and rare."

Rosie and Ramona Shop How did you come up with the name for your Etsy shop? "My name is Rosie and my daughter is Ramona. Original!" Why did you start your Etsy shop? "I had my little girl 2 years ago and wanted to pursue my 2 dreams, to work for myself making art and to be a stay at home mum. I’m doing both at the same time!" Favorite holiday tradition? "A Christmas Eve walk in the woods with my family. We’ve been doing it since I was a toddler and now we get to take Ramona!" What is your favorite holiday treat? "My Grandma’s homemade mince pies. She makes over 200 from scratch every year because they’re so popular and delicious!" What gift do you want this year? "Well, I’m pregnant again and I’m a sucker for lotions and creams, so some lovely organic handmade pampering products would go down a treat!"
