City launches air quality study in south Etobicoke Study results expected in the fall TAMARA SHEPHARD tshephard@insidetoronto.com The city is undertaking a months-long study in south Etobicoke to identify the sources and cumulative concentrations of 30 air quality contaminants that impact local air quality. Majority support Mimico 20/20: survey TAMARA SHEPHARD tshephard@insidetoronto.com Some 63 per cent of decided respondents to a Mimico Residents’ Association survey last month indicated they would approve of the Mimico 20/20 revitalization plan. The Mimico 20/20 study area in Mimico-By-The-Lake is popu-
lated by decades-old midrise and lowrise apartment buildings, as well as a commercial retail strip along Lake Shore Boulevard West.
