MARKET WRAP Sensex dropped 0.21%@18,877.96 pts; Nifty dropped 0.37%@5,698.50 pts. European major indices CAC, FTSE & DAX were red from 0.24% to 0.53%. Asian major indices Hang Seng was dropped 1.50%;Nikkei 225 was up 0.40%. Sensex dropped 40.56@18,877.96; Nifty dropped 21.20pts@5,698.50. Today market was extremely volatile fell on to close near 3-month lows, as global risk aversion sparked broad-based selling in metals and cement stocks & domestic blue chips, including in LNT. DLF & Reliance Infra down 3.4 % each also dragged the indices during the day.
