We are approaching the big day. HANG IN THERE!!! The week before closing can be a hectic time with all the last minute details that need to be done. Therefore, we would like to provide you with some helpful information to make this last week go a bit smoother. We typically receive the final settlement statement the business day prior to closing from the title company. This statement will show the amount of money you will need to bring to closing. Should you have questions after receiving this amount, please contact your lender or your agent (all money should be in the form of a cashier’s check). The title company requires that you show one form of I.D. such as a Drivers license, so be sure to have it with you. If you have any questions, please feel free to call. We have enjoyed working with you and hope your experience with The Diamond Group has been and will continue to be a pleasant one.

Important Reminders: Prior to closing:  Three to four days before closing, schedule the connection for all utilities on the day of closing or on the day you get possession from the seller, including electric, gas, water and phone.  Make sure your homeowners insurance is set up to go into effect on the day of closing or possession.  I will call to schedule a walk through of the property to verify that any agreed upon repairs have been completed and that all warranted items are in working order.
