Quick Start Training Information & Itinerary Quick Start Training is an intensive learning program lasting Monday through Friday. The Friday session will offer concurrent sessions that will cover the Christmas Decor software system and extend the field training. This program is designed for new franchisees to learn the fundamentals of the Christmas lighting business, and for existing franchises with the need to train new personnel or rejuvenate their businesses. 2022 QST Events Event 1 – August 15-19 Event 2 – September 19-23 Event 3 – October 3-7 Event 4 – October 24-28 A new franchise may bring 3 attendees, including the owner. (Additional Attendees - $399 per person.) (Existing Franchises – The fee for this training is $399)

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR TRAINING? You are responsible for making your own hotel and travel arrangements. 1. All required payments and paperwork for the franchise and the training must be complete prior to attending the opening training session. 2. Plan your travel schedule to be in Irving on Sunday evening so you can be in the Corporate Office Training Center by 8:45 AM on Monday. DO NOT book any return flights before 2:00 PM on the last day of training. Please send us your travel itinerary prior to the week of the training. A group rate is available at the Sonesta Es Suites Dallas/Las Colinas. The negotiated Christmas Decor Rate is $125 single occupancy. The Sonesta Es Suites are located at 1201 Executive Circle Irving, TX. 75038. Email Jeff Parks directly for reservations at jeff.parks@sonesta.com or call directly 972-536-2708 and request corporate rate for The Decor Group. The Sonesta ES Suites are considered the host hotel and we highly recommend you stay there. Hotel reservations are made and paid by you. 3. Arrangements for transportation to and from DFW Airport will be your responsibility. Transportation will be provided to and from the Sonesta Es Suites each training day and to any demonstration sites used for training. A Christmas Decor Employee will pick you up each morning at the hotel, please observe the departure times listed in the itinerary.


4. We will provide daily transportation to and from the hotel and our offices. 5. If you elect to stay at a different hotel, you will need to provide your own transportation to and from the training site each day. The training location address is 2301 Crown Court Irving, Texas 75038. 6. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a jacket. The training room is often cool and the weather in Dallas can fluctuate greatly. It can be quite hot in late spring and summer and very cold in the fall. Prepare to be flexible with clothing options. We will be outdoors on occasion. 7. Any schedule changes will be announced each day. Lunch will be provided during training. Please let me know if you need any additional information. IMPORTANT The training will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. You will need to be Irving and at the Christmas Decor Corporate Office by this time. Please make sure to plan all travel arrangements to arrive on time. It is advised that you plan to be in Dallas on Sunday evening to avoid possible morning flight delays.

Thursday Evening – Owners  Dinner at a local restaurant (time to be determined during training) Friday Morning – 7:50 AM Meet in Hotel Lobby for Transportation 8:30 AM: Concurrent Sessions 1) LightRight Cloud training (Office Admin & Sales & Owners) 2) Install Continuation (Install Crews, Management, Sales) Note: This session is critical for owners and/or the person who will be operating the software. The owner is encouraged to have a good understanding of this system which is critical to the operation of the business. We recommend that, at a minimum, you have one laptop to participate, one per student is preferred. Software – Overview Setting up Company Defaults Pricing Options Setting Production Standards Customers, Items and Jobs Scanning and Modifying Maps Scheduling and Routing Proposals, Product Pull Sheets, Job Sheets, Invoices and Statements Annual Roll-over of Customers
