A Taste of the Arctic
DAY 2: Ålesund Relax and enjoy the pristine tranquillity of the coastal landscapes of the West Cape as you sail through the night towards Ålesund. Here, you’ll discover a charming town renowned for its Art Nouveau architecture. DAY 3: Trondheim
Your fi rst call of the day is the Royal City of Trondheim, home to the impressive Gothic style Nidaros Cathedral, Scandinavia’s largest medieval building. There’s lots more to see in this historical Viking city including the colourful Bakklandet district.
DAY 4: Arctic Circle and Lofoten Islands Crossing the Arctic Circle is one of the major highlights of your journey. Get ready to mark the occasion with a baptism of ice on deck. From here, you’ll sail past the Svartisen glacier and on through the idyllic islets and jagged mountains of Lofoten. DAY 5: Tromsø, disembarkation
During the night, we sail through the spectacular narrow Raftsund strait towards the mouth of Trollfjord, a 2 km long, 10 m wide fjord. In the afternoon, we arrive at Tromsø, the Arctic capital and your fi nal port of call. Here, you’ll transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 6: Tromsø
Take some free time to explore the lively Arctic city of Tromsø, taste the local Mack beer and Lyngen seafood, or join one of our wonderful winter excursions.

DAY 1: Embarkation, Tromsø You’ll have the chance to spend some time in lively Tromsø, and the base for many unmissable polar excursions. The city is home to polar history museum as well as the northernmost brewery in the world. Once you board your ship, you’ll head south towards the spectacular Lofoten and Vesterålen islands through prime Arctic fishing territory. DAY 2: Vesterålen and Lofoten Islands For many, the fjords and scenery of Vesterålen and Lofoten represent quintessential Norway, with its stunning network of inlets and islands. You will also pass through the narrow Raftsund strait which affords incredible views.
DAY 5: Bergen, disembarkation
On the fi nal stretch of your voyage, you’ll pass rugged landscapes, cascading waterfalls and the fertile plains around Nordfjord and the Jostedalsbreen glacier. You will disembark in Bergen, the City of the Seven Mountains, where you’ll have time to stroll around and visit the UNESCOlisted Bryggen wharf and the famous fish market. DAY 3: Arctic Circle and Seven Sisters mountain range
You will cross the Arctic Circle and be invited to take part in a special ritual on deck in honour of this moment. From here, enjoy the impressive scenery provided by the Seven Sisters mountains that loom majestically over the Helgeland coast, and look out for the fabled Hestmannen and Torghatten rocks of Viking saga.

DAY 4: Trondheim and Kristiansund We dock in Trondheim in the morning Kristiansund where you will have the chance to visit Ålesund Molde Nidaros Cathedral, renowned as the Torvik Måløy only Gothic cathedral in Norway. Florø Or take a stroll through this historic old town and the charming Bakklandet district with Bergen its distinctive wooden houses. You’ll then sail on towards Kristiansund, the “cured cod capital” of the world.
