2015 Golf Event Guide
Welcome to the 2015 golf season at The Country Club at Loch Lloyd. The professional staff has worked diligently this winter to create a fun golf schedule for you with several new events for this season. Our Majors this season kick off with “the Scotty,” April 17th & 18th, followed by The Brigadoon Classic, June 11th-13th, and The Whummle, June 24th-27th. The Match Play Championship begins July 11th and the Club Championships are scheduled September 25th-27th. Our season ending event will be the Watson Cup, our annual competition against our sister clubs, the National and the Deuce. The Watson Cup is scheduled for October 3rd & 4th. Tournaments are a great way to meet new friends and improve your game. We hope everyone plays in as many events as their schedules allow so we can continue to offer the highest quality tournaments. Skins Game A New Event For 2015! Join us the last Friday of every month for an afternoon of comradery and competition. Gross Skins and a Net Blind Draw will allow players from every level to compete and win. Guests are welcome and don’t forget to grab a drink in the Men’s Locker Room or 19th Hole after your round. Format: Gross Skins + Net Blind Draw Dates: April 24th May 29th July 31st August 28th September 25th October 30th Starting Time: 1:00 PM Entry Fee: $20 cash + Applicable Cart Fee Prizes: Cash payouts will be awarded to all winners.

Highland Game A New Event For 2015! Highland Games are fun competitions that you can sign up for on the first tee. Each month will be a different format with some of them revolving around the PGA Tour’s Major Championships. These games are designed to add a little fun to your round without interrupting your traditional Saturday group. TGIF Join us for a Friday evening of fun on the Sechrest 9. Each month will be different couples friendly format. These events are a great chance to make new friends and spend some time with your much better half. An optional dinner follows golf. One Day Member Guest A New Twist on an Old Event For 2015! Sneak out of work early and invite a friend, client, neighbor or boss to join you for an afternoon of golf. The event kicks off with a shotgun at 1:00 PM. Men & women are welcome to play. A tee gift, lunch, hors d’ oeuvres are all included. Par 3 Tournament A New Event For 2015! Sign up for this pre-season warm up to see who is kicking off the year with the sharpest iron game! This is a fun event to get the golf season going no matter how the weather turns out. This event will take place on the Watson course with each hole being configured as a par 3. Demo Day One of the most exciting events of the year has a new twist in 2015. At this year’s Demo Day all of our vendors are coming on the same day. Yes, that means you can compare all of the latest equipment on the same day! Adams, Callaway, Cobra, Nike, Taylormade and Titleist will be there with their latest and greatest. Fourball Match Play Grab a friend and sign up for this great team competition. This is the perfect format for golfers new to competition because your partner will always have your back. The Brigadoon Classic The Brigadoon Classic is The Country Club at Loch Lloyd’s celebration of ladies’ golf. It is the perfect opportunity to spend three days on the course with your best friends. Parent Child Tournament The Parent Child Tournament is a great opportunity to spend time with your kids on the golf course. Flag Tournament Come celebrate the 4th of July at the Club. This year we will have a shotgun start for all morning play at 8:30 AM. Similar to the Highland games, the flag tournament will not interfere with your traditional group. Format: Flag Tournament Date: July 4th

Clash of Clans A New Event For 2015! Will the Loch Lloyd residents be able to defend their turf or will our members from outside the gates invade and win the competition? This fun event will have resident members compete against those who live outside of Loch Lloyd in a fun Ryder Cup style competition. The winning Clan will take the Highlander Cup. Format: Ryder Cup Style Competition Date: August 15th & 16th Starting Time: 10:00 AM Starting Times Entry Fee: $100 per Player + Applicable Cart Fee Prizes: Golf Shop Credit will be awarded to the winning clan. Eligibility: First 20 members who live inside the gate and first 20 members who live outside of the gate. Men & Women welcome. Details: Team shirts will be provided to all participants.
Mixed Club Championship This event is a long standing tradition at Loch Lloyd and a member favorite. Sign up with your better half or a friend of the opposite gender if your spouse does not play. Dinner and awards follow play. Club Championships Come test your game and see how you stack up against players of like ability. This event determines the best players in the club and gives everyone a tour like competition experience. This event will be flighted and awards will be given out following play. Ghostly Greens A New Event For 2015! The Golf Course Maintenance Team is getting their revenge this Halloween. Prepare yourself for tucked pins, lightning fast greens and some interesting places to tee off from. This is a fun event and we hope everyone can make it out to see how difficult the Loch Lloyd Monster will play. Similar to the Highland games, Ghostly Greens will not interfere with your traditional group. 2015 Junior Golf After School Program: The After School Program will take place every Thursday during school semesters. We will begin these programs at 4:30 and the program will end at 5:45. These sessions will be broken into 3 segments. We will have 10 minutes of warm up followed by a 40 minute lesson. We will always conclude the session with 25 minutes of actual play on the Sechrest 9. Cost $125/month or $35/session. *Please feel free to drop in*
Summer Camp: Loch Lloyd Summer Camp program will consist of golf and swimming. This program is designed to keep our juniors active and engaged at the club throughout the summer. They will build the necessary skills to develop as golfers and form new friendships at the pool. This 3-day program will take place Wednesday - Friday during the summer months from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and will include lunch for all participants. Guests are welcome! Cost $250 per week (Wednesday - Friday)
Junior KC Cup Team: The CC at Loch Lloyd Junior KC Cup Team is a great way to introduce your child to competitive golf. Our team is open to junior ages 10-15 willing to learn how to compete in a team environment. We will meet one day a week for eight weeks starting May 28 from 3:00-4:00. The team will compete in the Junior KC Cup, as well as multiple play dates throughout the summer. Each team member will receive golf instruction and supervised practice each setting. Cost $360 – includes 8 weeks of golf instruction, playing, tournaments and team shirt.

Ladies Golf Boot Camp What: The Ladies Golf Boot Camp is designed for players of all abilities wanting to improve their golf. It is an opportunity to learn the game of golf in a thorough and well coordinated professional program. Your athletic ability will take you from the practice tee to the golf course in 6 hours of lessons over four dates. You will learn the wide range of skills and information that will build confidence in your game. This is the perfect program to keep your skills sharp throughout the golf season. When:

Each day will consist of 50 minutes of golf instruction (includes video) and 40 minutes of playing golf Price: $125.00 includes six hours of golf and playing. A la Carte is $40.00 per session.
Trackman Squad What: The Country Club at Loch Lloyd is excited to announce we are the only club in Kansas City to have Trackman, the most advanced teaching and training tool in golf. With the arrival of this new tool we have an exciting instructional offering for all players, Trackman Squad. Trackman Squad is designed for all members who enjoy short lessons, supervised practice and want a program to ensure they are working on the correct fix to improve their golf swings and game. This organized instructional program will help any golfer take their golf game to the next level. Trackman Squad players will have four hours a week to participate in group instruction. Each player will receive one on one time during each session and work on their individual program with an instructor nearby. When: Thursday, March 26 - Friday, October 30.
