Mill Operator

CSA Mine is looking for a Leading Hand - Mill Operator. This position offers new opportunities and increased exposure across operating in the ore processing department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic mining operation that recognises achievement and offers genuine career opportunities. This role may suit a tradesperson, trade assistant or operator with demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a dedication to working safely and continuous improvement. As a Leading Hand, you will contribute to a safe and efficient team environment, overseeing sections of the processing plant whilst continuously improving working practices.

About the role:

• Plan and coordinate all weekly and daily activities in a safe and efficient manner by prioritising resources

• Ensure all safety and shift related documentation is completed

• Perform operations checks and inspections

• Communicate plant issues to supervisor and oncoming shift personnel

• Supervise the crew when required

• Additional tasks as required by the supervisor

The successful applicant will have:

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (minimum P2 or equivalent)

• High Risk Work Licence for Dogging, EWP and Forklift (desirable)

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a relevant plant environment
