Congressional Delegation Listens to Local Businesses The Chamber is happy to host members of our congressional delegation and have had many opportunities to do so recently. Giving them a chance to hear from and about our local business community helps strengthen our relationships with them.

US Senator Heidi Heitkamp met in January with The Chamber’s Grand Forks Herald Advisory Committee and was the keynote speaker at The Chamber’s Annual meeting that had nearly 500 people in attendance.

In the past 5 weeks, US Senator John Hoeven and Congressman Kevin Cramer both held listening sessions at The Chamber Office. Approximately 25 local business people attended the sessions and had the opportunity to interact and ask questions. The main topics of discussion at these recent meetings were key federal legislation impacting business and discussion on the area’s UAS industry.

The winners of the award were revealed at EY’s black-tie gala on June 10 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Minneapolis.
