HILE NOT ALL teens experience dramatic ups and downs in their lives, there is good reason why adolescence has been described as a period of “storm and stress.” From Middle School through to Grade 12, a lot happens in the social, emotional and intellectual realms of a teen’s life. In addition, brain development at this time of life makes it all the more difficult for teens to manage rapid change and complex challenges.
