OPPOSITION Raphael Cohen-Almagor

PROPOSITION Bassem Eid An analyst for Israeli TV and radio, Eid is a Palestinian human rights activist. Most recently, he has broadened his research to include human rights violations committed by the Palestinian Authority.

As a political theorist and professor, Cohen-Almagor is the incumbent Chair in Politics at the University of Hull, who has published extensively on political science, law, ethics and philosophy.

Norman Finkelstein American political scientist, activist, author and professor, Finkelstein has conducted extensive research on the IsraeliPalestinian conflict and the Holocaust.

Gideon Levy An Israeli journalist and author, Levy writes opinion pieces and a weekly column for Haaretz which often focus on the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.

Ed McNally A second year History student from Pembroke, Ed is a current co-Chair of the PalSoc at Cambridge.

Sharon Booth Founder and director of Solutions Not Sides, an educational organisation which promotes a non-partisan attitude to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and a respect for the human rights of all.

Daniel Ohrenstein A second year Natural Sciences student from Selwyn College, Daniel is the current President of Israel Society at Cambridge.
