Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center

Our mission is to provide quality learning experiences that promote growth and nourish the development of individuals of all ages and backgrounds. At Genesee Valley our goal is to help individuals function better as a cooperative group in the classroom, at the office, and around the house. We have developed an experiential education program using our Challenge Course that actively addresses communication, cooperation, healthy risk-taking, leadership, persistence and creative problem solving. Our outdoor learning center is where students and adults come for a day or several to play games, engage in fun and challenging problem solving activities, and utilize the low and high ropes course. We use the Challenge Course to discuss strategies for meeting everyday life head on. We offer participants an opportunity to grow through verbal discussions and physical challenges.
