What a circus
Fashion Show on Earth,” was the cutest show on Earth. Tables were decorated with Ferris wheels and carousel centerpieces made out of candy, as guests were transported back to a 1913 circus. Over 40 children, ages 1 to 12, rocked the runway wearing the latest spring/summer fashions from Neiman Marcus. For the first time since its opening in 1968, the Alley Theatre is changing the look of its facilities. Recently, the theater celebrated the groundbreaking for the extensive renovation as part of its $73 million capital campaign, cochaired by Meredith Long and Roger Plank. At the ceremony, Roger Plank shattered a column on the Hubbard Stage, marking the beginning of the $46.5 million renovation. Fairytale wedding In Gnesta, Sweden, on the eve of the summer solstice (June 21), also known as Midsummer’s Eve, friends and family of Michael Bischoff and Julia Furumo (pictured, next page) gathered at a beautiful countryside castle to celebrate the couple’s marriage. Michael, a Strake Jesuit and Texas Tech University alum, met Julia while he was living in Atlanta.
