The guests spent the afternoon enjoying a string quartet while exploring the garden and listening to social tips from guest speaker Shelby Hodge, a longtime Houston society reporter. They shopped Neiman Marcus finds too.

More than 100 young Houstonians, including Katie Jernigan, Caroline Dawson, Molly McMurtry and Mary Ann Cuellar (pictured, from left), supported the Memorial Park Conservancy at the Urban Wild Bridge Bash. Urban Wild is a group of young professionals who support Memorial Park. For the group’s second annual Bridge Bash, members and guests gathered on Memorial Park’s Living Bridge for drinks, food, music and fun. In the mix were Brittany Hildebrand, Emma Brown, George Johnston, Gary Moss, Ben Tucker, Cary Branch ISD students. Attendees enjoyed aerialists and an artist, vied with friends over auction items, played games and danced to The NiteBeat Band. The presenting sponsor was HEB.
Helping the homeless Trees of Hope hosted its holiday gala at The Citadel on Kirby for more than 350 patrons, including Tom and Lesha Elsenbrook (pictured). Honorary chair Lynn Wyatt, along with gala co-chairs Donna Grehn and Sharon Schwartz, planned the evening in celebration of Trees of Hope’s 27th year. The non-profit helps improve the lives of children at Star of Hope, an agency for the homeless. The blacktie evening featured music by the David Caceres Band and an auction that broke an organizational record, raising nearly $100,000 in paddles-up donations alone. Over $600,000 was raised in total. Also in the crowd were Heather Holmes,
Hines, Cara Rudelson, Josh Ibarra, Doug Coenen, Sarah Leatherwood, Jeffrey Yates, Maggie Brown and Art Tyler.
