It was a colorful day for the Pin Oak Middle School Charger community on Oct. 11. The school held its inaugural “Charge into the Color” fun run. The event was the official kickoff to fundraising efforts toward building a new, a half-mile, $80,000 fitness track. Students, faculty and volunteers had a blast throwing color powder, running and cheering on students. The celebration continued with a post-race party featuring music, Kona Ice snacks and more colorthrowing fun. Pictured (from left) Nicole Hampton, Erin Lang and Natalie Hampton.
