Buzz About Town PVA roots

The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts hosted its eighth annual Encore for

Excellence luncheon at the River Oaks Country Club. The event, chaired by Jo and Jim Furr and Minnette and Peter Boesel, featured student performances as well as an appearance from World War Z movie actress and HSPVA alumna Mireille Enos. Local businesses, parents, teachers and classes donated items and services to be auctioned off at the gala.
