The Boathouse District is home to many renowned athletes, as well as artistic and architectural attractions. Visitors may view the structures along the river while walking around—each designed by Rand Elliott of Elliott & Associates—as they enter through the Boathouse District entrance, which features a Compass Rose sculpture by celebrated sculptor Owen Morrell. This OKC District is gaining worldwide renown for combining local sportsmanship with world-class attractions. Situated in downtown OKC on the Oklahoma River and conveniently located near two major highways, I35 and I40, it is not only easily accessible for those living in OKC but also visitors to our city.

There are three main attractions in the Boat House District: the Chesapeake Boathouse, the Devon Boathouse, and the OKC RIVERSPORT Adventures area. Home to several famous boathouses on the river, The Boathouse District includes the Chesapeake Finish Line Tower and RIVERSPORT Adventure Park.
