What little details do you treasure?

When you drive up to the ranch,there is a sense of pride that this is your home. It is a beautiful property with ample space for friends and family,or income potential for renters and a caretaker.The house is quiet and private. We have created space for entertainment,including outdoor decks,patios and a lawn that would rival any golf course in town. The primary bedroom feels like a retreat in and of itself,with wool carpeting,Restoration Hardware fixtures,and high ceilings.

What quirks?

This is a log house with modern updates. As we worked on the house our goal was to create a look we called "Modern Log" with updates and touches throughout. In the bedroom there is a hidden TVseen only when you are laying in bed.The barn apartment is a great space for guests,or a cozy and ample home office.

Why is this a good place to live?

The location of the ranch allows for the full ranch-life experience while staying close to the amenities and community experience of Steamboat Springs. The school bus picks up and drops off kids at the end of the dirt road. This is a quiet,picturesque location that offers modern conveniences just minutes away.

What momentous things have happened to you under this roof?

We raised two kids,a dog,and two horses. The kid?s friends always picked homestead ranch for the place to be; whether it was playing ping-pong,jumping on the trampoline,snowmobiling,4-wheeling,or just hanging around the fire. It afforded the kids freedom to roam,and the adults plenty of room to recreate and socialize.
