The Junior High School Department of Don Bosco Technical Institute-Makati held an anti-cyberbullying talk entitled “Rules of the Internet” at the Braga Auditorium last March 15, 2023

Guest speaker Atty Ñino Martinez, an Investigation Agent V (Supervising Agent) of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and an honorable alumnus of the institute were invited to talk in front of the Junior High School Department

When asked about the importance of the talk to the students, Mr Martinez said, “Ang value nito is to increase their awareness, we are not just confined on the four corners of our school, there is a big world outside, and we have to be responsible for our actions”

]The talk ended with Mr Martinez informing the audience about the right due process when it comes to being a victim of cyberbullying He enumerated the possible signs and the necessary steps to attain justice for yourself

“It's more of giving back, kumbaga dito sa Don Bosco I graduated here, and I want to impart what I learned outside dito sa mga estudyante natin yun ang importante.” said Mr. Martinez as he talked about his motivation to agree to deliver this speech

The school hopes that the seminar could raise awareness of the growing cybercrime issue.
