Champion Award at the ICA BOB Dance Troupe Competition

The Wolfpack bagged its first competition and first win for 2023 at Immaculate Conception Academy (ICA) Fair held in Immaculate Conception Academy-Greenhills, San Juan, last March 4, 2023, Saturday

The team comprised 9 Bosconian dancers, 3 of whom are from the Junior High School (JHS) Department of the Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati These are Kent Cabigting of 10 - Rinaldi, David Amores of 9 - Zatti, and Dwight Dimayuga of 9 - Zatti

The dance group entered the competition a few weeks before the event The talented Bosconians from the JHS and SHS Department underwent days of vigorous training after school hours in hopes of securing the victory

The Wolfpack competed in the ICA BOB Dance Troupe competition at the 2023 ICA Fair and performed among other competitors and rival dance groups from different schools

All their hard work paid off as they won the Champion title The group mesmerized and captivated the crowd and was given the top spot because of the “People’s Choice” Award

Amores shared the experience of participating in his first competition outside of school

“It was honestly one of the best experiences to hold the trophy in your hands for the first time It was a bizarre adventure, and I couldn’t have done it without my team and our captain I owe this victory to all of them,” Amores explained

Wolfpack’s captain, Rhanger Oliveros, shared the path of difficulties they faced along the way, stating that each day provided a new challenge to the point where most of the team was backing out

“This is a well-deserved victory because of all the hard work, dedication, and sleepless nights we put into this competition This victory is just the start for us”

The Wolfpack is looking forward to participating in future competitions and events Rest assured, the Junior High School Department will remain steadfast in its support
