December is definitely a month perfect for cosy books and even though “spooky season” and Halloween are over, I view the first month of the winter as cold, and slightly creepy in its nature.
That is why I think Bunny by MonaAwad, will be a perfect read fortheseason with colder days and nights, constant rain and cloudy sky.

What grasps the reader from the first chapter is sharp, intelligent language narrating the novel. The author perfectly captured the academic environment and artistic, small world. Main character is very interesting to follow. All her actions, imperfect personality and flaws that lead her to so many weird situations make her a greatly written person. But what I loved the most in this novel, is passion for creating no matter what and how, love for art and literature that is almost dangerous and unhealthy Unreliablenarratorandmorbidsceneslikefrom horror movies, make readers question how real the story actually is and what do we know actually about Samantha.
Mona Awad put together elements of horror, fairy tale and satire creating perfect, sugar coated and creepy, but incredibly enjoyable novel.Bunnyiscertainlyaweirdbookandafter finishing the last page it will leave you with many questions and no answers forthem. If you can call yourself passionate about art, odd themes and twisted, surrealistic stories, you should really try picking Bunny and I am sure you will not regret it.
