When multiple users or groups approve, parallel approvals allow for separate approval threads, reducing overall approval and sales cycle time. This can be achieved by creating a separate approval chain to send an approval to several approvers simultaneously. When the approval process is complete, Advanced Approvals progress to the next set of approval rules. For example, the diagram on the next slide depicts a scenario when Quote is submitted simultaneously to finance, Sales and Legal teams for approvals. In each approval chain, there can be multiple tiers of approvers for sequential approvals.
