The Bloom Group

For over 50 years The Bloom Group has supported the most vulnerable people in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside through the provision of housing, health and social services. Every year approximately 1,500 people are served by our emergency shelters and transitional housing for women, mental health and affordable housing, pension manageemtn program for seniors, and hospice end-of-life care. Our ‘low-barrier’ services are inclusive and available to all individuals in need, regardless of their circumstances, and without conditions. Our vision is a strong and resilient community where all persons have a stable home and the support to live healthy lives with self-determination.
