GENER AL AUCTION INFO BIDDING ELECTRONICALLY IN 2021 Starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 7, registered guests will have the opportunity to bid early on Live Auction and Super Silent Items, buy raffle tickets and make cash donations from their phones using the Text2Bid Platform. Here is how it works: » Registered guests will receive an email in advance with their assigned Bid Number. » On Friday at 8 a.m., guests will receive a text message to access the Text2Bid platform. » Click on the hyperlink and enter your bid number to register for Text2Bid. If you don’t receive the text message, email auction@bishops.com to get a Bid Number. Then text BISHOPS (no apostrophe) to 71760 to access the Text2Bid Platform. » Once into the Text2Bid app, you will be able to see descriptions and values for all the Live Auction items, Super Silent items and the raffle prizes. You will now be ready to bid! You will be able to create a favorites watch list with automatic and maximum bids. Text message notifications will be sent when higher bids have been made.
LIVE AUCTION RULES Early bidding will be occurring throughout the day via the Text2Bid platform. At the Livestream at 8 p.m., the auctioneer will start the bidding on each item at the amount of the highest early bids. Bidding will be ongoing for the Live Auction items until each item closes in sequence as the auctioneer announces the close of bidding for each item. Winning bids may be split for payment at the completion of the Live Auction with notification to Bishop’s staff – email auction@bishops.com to arrange.
SUPER SILENT RULES The Super Silent Auction section for 2021 is comprised of items and experiences that range in value from $450 - 10,775. Bidding on these items will be made electronically along with the Live Auction via your mobile phone on the Text2Bid platform. » Guests will continue bidding throughout the evening during the Livestream auction program. » Bidding on the Super Silent Auction items will close at 10 p.m. » Winning bidders will receive a text notification for any item they have won.
