For the past 3 years I have been running Declutter and Downsize (declutteranddownsize.co.za) and I come across lots of treasure. Items that have served their purpose in one persons life but can still be needed and enjoyed elsewhere. As if 2020 was not challenging enough, I made the mad decision to open a physical warehouse shop where all these treasures can be seen. ThePreLovedShop.co.za will PRIMARILY exist as an ever changing online catalogue of all the items I declutter but they can be viewed, along with hundreds of others, at out physical location (see ad below). I sell all kinds of items that can have a use and a place in your life. Furniture, beds, kitchenware, tools, DIY, linens, art and collectables, mirrors and homewares. Katelyn Allegra from TheKateTin made these delicious Christmas Malva Puddings using our Sticky Malva Pudding Mix! “The malva pudding is so easy to make you can spend a bit of extra time of decking it out in Christmassy flavours. I soaked some dried fruit cake mix in brandy and added that along with cherries, pecan nuts and some Clemengold zest. It is DELISH!”
You will need: Serves 6-8
• 1 x 500 g Ina Paarman's Sticky Malva Pudding Mix • 80 g glace cherries, chopped • 100 g pecan nuts, toasted and chopped
• 8 0 g fruit cake mix soaked in 1/4 cup warm brandy overnight • z est of 1 clemengold or orange • 6 0 ml water OR fresh cream (I used Amarula)
Method
• Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease 12 small dariole moulds or muffin tins.
