I am Brice M. Everhart, now twelve-year-old entrepreneur who launched Vallaire’s for Men, a men’s accessories line where I make custom lapel pins, pocket squares, and bow ties. At the ripe old age of eight, I wanted a way to help my mother who was ill at the time, I told her, “focus on your health, and I will focus on the wealth!” I also wanted to address the limitations found in quality men’s accessories. My mom has always instilled in me the importance of presentation and now that she is better, my new why is, “Helping men dress to impress for the right success!”

As a gifted speaker and philanthropist, Brice has a driving desire to help other youth build their legacies by co-creating the Young Empowerment Society (YES). Young Empowerment Society is a student led & driven empowerment platform with a mission to build a society of community and youth leaders uniting to create cultural agents of change, while connecting school to the real-world through leadership, partnerships (mentorship), and entrepreneurship. Our vision is to globally empower youth to lead, impact, and change their lives, families, schools, and communities.

Brice coordinates youth empowerment campaigns, volunteers, and gives a percentage of his proceeds to nonprofit organizations including Night of Superstars, Champion Kids Camp, World Youth Foundation, Houston Village Foundation, and Workshop Houston. Determined to grow the Vallaire’s brand, along with his sister, Brooke Vallaire into a world-renowned brand, this precocious, influential, and successful businessman most assuredly is going places!

On November 28, 2019, Vallaire’s For Men expanded into a physical location in the Pop-Up Shop Galleria Mall, Houston, TX. > What do you specialize in, what are you most known for? Men’s Accessories Designer Bow Ties, Pocket Squares, Lapel Pins > Being in business can be hard and difficult sometimes, what keeps you motivated? Being in business is lots of hard work and it is not for the faint at heart! I am glad that I started at eight years old; therefore, I have time to grow into the business mogul I see myself being in the nearest future. What keeps me motivated is WHY I started my business, wanting to educate men, especially young men on the importance of a first impression, and giving back to the community. Setting a standard

of excellence for myself also keeps me motivated. I am most proud that I have been able to own and operate a business for over four years; be a philanthropist; public speaker; attend business workshops, seminars, pitch competitions, summer camps; receive various awards; and still maintain balance and have fun, all while maintaining straight A’s in school for the last seven years. > What can we look forward to from you in the upcoming year? In the upcoming year, I’m excited to expand Vallaire’s For Men with new accessories and products, update my website, continue to grow within the pop-up shop galleria mall, partner with other young entrepreneurs on a new project,

and there’s so much more to come, but it’s all a surprise. Just watch out for Vallaire’s For Men because we’re going to be doing BIG things! > What has been the hardest thing about being in business? Time Management is probably the most challenging thing in business- trying to manage all aspects of my life school, fun, friends, family, and my business, but I’m getting it done. I take a few minutes each day to focus on all these important areas in my life. > What are the failures that you most cherish? Not winning all pitch competitions that I’ve entered has been what I cherish the most. I use this as a learning opportunity to grow and expand myself and business. Sitting in a room of people threeto-five times my age, sets me apart from my peers and gives me an advantage to learn things like how to conduct a beta test; complete a business model canvas; prepare value proposition a cost structure;

and understand the financial side of my business such as a balance sheet, revenue, expenses, income, sales forecast, budget and cost flow analysis, return on investments, etc. > What did you want to be when you grew up? I want to be in the entertainment industry because I like making my imaginations come to life through acting, producing, and even singing. I see myself as a multi-billion-dollar business mogul and world-renowned actor.What do you do in your free time? I watch YouTube videos on just about any and everything like cooking channels, researching animals, listening to motivational speakers, and learning more about investing, just to name a few. I do this because it keeps me aware of what’s going on without watching the depressing news channels. > How would you describe yourself in one word? GOLD > What sets you apart from others who are doing the same thing? I am dressing men to impress for there right success instead of like others just providing clothes. It’s important the I use my platform to provide young men with the proper tools that will position them for success early in life. We only have one time to make a first impression! > What is a philosophy or quote that you live by? Actually, I have two: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” and “When you work hard, you play hard.” I learned the later one from my father, it helps me stay balanced. > If you could offer one piece of advice to someone wanting to follow your path, what would it be? “Make sure you become knowledgeable, don’t sweat little things, have patience because great things take a great amount of time, and stay humble!”
