Growing up in 5th ward sports was always the pushed route and only way to be success like in most Black neighborhoods. “I always had a ear for music and the talent to sing, I just never took it serious enough in my younger days because at the time football was overshadowing every other talent I had.” stated Darius.

After earning a full ride scholarship to Prairie View A&M to play football the unexpected happened, Darius had a foot injury that caused his football days to come to an end. He ended up leaving Prairie View to go back home.

While in between jobs Darius finally decided to take a chance on my voice. He started doing karaoke contest, going to the studio, singing to women in public, and etc... “The feedback I was receiving was way better than what I expected so I stuck with it.” said Darius. R&B is back

What keeps you motivated? My daughter drives me the most and my family. What has been the hardest thing about being in business? I would say the hardest thing in this business to me is to not get complacent. What do you do in your free time? In my free time I write music, workout, and spend time with my family. How would you describe yourself in one word? Passionate What is a philosophy or quote that you live by? “Be Teachable” and “God Built me to last.” If you could offer one piece of advice to someone wanting to follow your path, what would it be? “Listen to the haters and the non-supporters.” Your haters and non-supporters should push you to strive for excellence it should drive you to go harder. first album so a lot of great music is on the way.
